Bio and Background
Ryan Henner, MD
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I received a BA and BS from Washington and Lee University in Virginia, and my MD from the Medical College of Georgia. Along the way, practices of awareness and spiritual study became as important to me as coursework, and I envisioned the possibility of incorporating these traditions with Western medicine. I completed residency at the Harvard Longwood Program, including training at both Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. I continue to work full time as a psychiatry attending at BIDMC, and instructor at Harvard Medical School. Good Medicine is an unaffiliated private practice in which we can explore the possibilities of your mind and potential. When not working, I enjoy funky music, yoga, and spending time outside with my wife and our dog Mango.
